Edit Resource
To Edit Resource, a rebrand meant bringing their team into the spotlight.
Their Story
The Challenge: Create a brand that reflects the professionalism of Edit Resource and features its team members
The Website
While they are experts in their own right, Eric and Elisa's main goal in creating the new Edit Resource website was that their team members would be prominently seen, easy to find by potential customers, and their skills highlighted. Their focus was to connect their editors with projects rather than feature themselves or their own (literally) bestseller-status work.
To meet their goals, our team created a sophisticated organization system to categorize every team member according to their particular skills. Then, we made that database filterable using a super-clean, easy-to-understand user interface, all while creating a beautiful, modern design.
The Logo
As a resource for finding skilled literary editing services, proofreaders, and industry-leading ghost- and copywriters, Edit Resource's focus is the printed word. Their whole mission focuses on connecting authors with the resources they need to craft the highest quality books possible.
In creating a logo to communicate their vision, we crafted an icon immediately recognizable as a hard cover book, and within it, communicated the "E" in Edit Resource. Mixing a traditional serif font for "Edit" with a script font for "Resource" and then adding in the 'insert' proofreading mark ties the overall concept together.
